Job Description

1. Talent Acquisition & Employer Branding:

  • Design and execute strategic talent acquisition plans aligned with workforce needs and business expansion
  • Oversee employer branding initiatives to attract high-caliber candidates and position the company as an employer of choice.
  • Collaborate with departments to forecast hiring needs, ensure timely recruitment, and improve candidate experience
  • Monitor recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, quality of hire, source effectiveness) and continuously improve hiring processes

2. Learning & Development & Workforce Planning

  • Lead learning strategy, including leadership development, compliance training, technical capability, and soft skills
  • Oversee learning platforms (LMS), content curation, learning pathways, and evaluation of training ROI
  • Partner with leadership to drive workforce planning (WFP): analyze current vs. future capability, workforce sizing, and succession plans
  • Develop career frameworks and implement HiPo (High Potential) talent programs

3. Organizational Development

  • Drive OD initiatives including employee engagement, culture transformation, and change management.
  • Facilitate talent reviews, competency frameworks, and leadership assessments
  • Lead projects on organizational design, team effectiveness, and change interventions
  • Champion values and behaviors that promote performance, inclusion, and growth

4. HR Systems & Process Enhancement

  • Oversee the selection, implementation, and continuous improvement of HR systems related to recruitment, learning, talent, and performance
  • Work with HR Shared Services and IT to ensure system usability, data accuracy, and analytics availability
  • Lead digital transformation initiatives that support self-service, efficiency, and employee experience

5. Compliance & Risk Management

  • Ensure recruitment, onboarding, and training processes comply with local labor laws, company policies, and audit requirements
  • Maintain accurate and auditable documentation for hiring and training activities
  • Coordinate with Legal and HR Compliance to update practices in response to policy or regulatory changes
  • Support internal audits and risk assessments related to talent acquisition and development activities
  • Champion ethical hiring and training practices that reflect organizational values and promote an inclusive workplace

6. Functional Head Responsibilities

  • Lead the functional team, ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives and alignment with company goals.
  • Coach and mentor team members on their professional growth, technical capabilities, and leadership development to build a strong internal talent pipeline.
  • Identify and prioritize functional improvement projects, with a focus on innovation, digital transformation, and operational excellence.
  • Facilitate and lead cross-functional workshops, alignment meetings, and training sessions involving internal stakeholders and external partners to drive collaboration and capability building.
  • Develop and maintain functional best practices, playbooks, and documentation; ensure seasonal or periodic updates are shared across relevant teams and locations.
  • Support the creation and enhancement of knowledge-sharing platforms to promote learning, standardization, and continuous improvement.
  • Actively collaborate with peers across departments, sites, and business units to exchange ideas and adopt best practices applicable to the function.
  • Liaise with external professionals, industry associations, and benchmarking groups to gather insights, identify trends, and integrate learnings into functional strategies and operations

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, Psychology, Education, or a related field
  • Equivalent professional experience in HR roles with a focus on Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development may be considered in lieu of formal education
  • Solid knowledge of Human Resource Management principles, with specialization in recruitment strategies, employee development, and organizational capability building
  • Familiarity with HR systems, digital learning platforms, and recruitment technologies is strongly preferred
  • Professional certifications in HR, Talent Development, or related fields are a plus
